The name stands for " First Quality of German – Indonesian Extraction " and pays tribute to an enduring, early connection with German firms who quickly realized the potential of the young entrepreneurs.
Progress was swift. Before long, a modern office building in the heart of Surabaya's most prominent business district was purchased and a branch office in Jakarta set up. Simultaneously, a partly refrigerated 14.600 sqm warehousing complex, including repacking facilities, located 15 km from the centre of Surabaya with excellent access to a highway was built in order to cope with the increasing volume of business.
As a company, PT. Jerindo Sari Utama occupies a central role as an intermediary between manufacturers and end-users. Sales promotion, sales, importation, repacking, and distribution of a variety of foreign goods from various countries, most notably from Germany, Singapore, and USA, are the core business activities of the company.
